South Asian Mental Health

OUR MISSION

This year ADZ will be centering its philanthropic initiative around South Asian Mental Health. We are proud to partner with four organizations who are dedicated to raising awareness around mental health and destigmatizing issues in the South Asian diaspora and Madison community.

OUR PARTNERS

Saurya Media

A South Asian led media company that raises awareness about issues relevant to the diaspora through animated dance pieces. Together we’ve embarked on an exciting project with the help of dance teams at our own university to shed light on mental health issues that are relevant to South Asian youth.

Mental Health Initiative on South Asians

A youth-led organization that has built the largest South Asian care provider database in the United States. They have also spearheaded various grassroots initiatives to integrate the importance of mental well-being into the daily lives of South Asians.

Impact Playground

An identity-driven, social-justice education platform designed for youth and a 2023 awardee for the Oak & Tides Foundation x Look Up & Live’s Innovation Challenge.

Sarah Shulze Foundation

An organization that was founded by athletes on UW-Madison’s Women’s Track & Cross Country team to honor their teammate who tragically lost her life to suicide.
